The Pinboard app lets you save and display text snippets in a Slack workspace. Users full control and responsibility over the content of these text snippets. Access to the Pinboard app is permitted on a temporary bases. We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue this offering at any time without notice.
Pinboard and Slack Technologies Inc (Slack) are different entities. There is no relationship between Pinboard and Slack, other than Pinboard being a licensee and user of the Slack API for the purpose of providing the Pinboard app. Slack is not responsible for the Pinboard app and will not provide support for this app.
Text snippets stored using the Pinboard app may contain proprietary and confidential information. By using the Pinboard app you grant us the right to transmit and store the information contained in the text snippets for the purpose of providing the Pinboard app and warrant that other team members have also consented to such use by us. You warrant that you are the creator of, or have the authority from the creator(s) of, all intellectual property rights in the text snippets and that use of them in the text snippets by us does not violate the applicable law, or the intellectual property rights of others. You will be liable to us and indemnify us for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your breach of the warranties contained in this clause.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Pinboard app is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. Pinboard hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Pinboard app will be complete, accurate, reliable, timely, secure, error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you are using the Pinboard app at your own discretion and risk. In no event will Pinboard be liable with respect to any subject matter of these terms, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable claim for: (i) any indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damages; (ii) loss of profit, business, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity; (iii) the cost of procurement for substitute products or services; or (iv) the cost of interruption of use or loss or corruption of data. Pinboard shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond its reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
These terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising hereunder, will be governed by English law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, the Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
